Greetings,
I hope there isn't a simple link that I'm overlooking to help solve my problem. I have a 1989 18' Sea Ray with a Mercruiser 175hp 4.3L engine and Alpha drive. I removed the engine last month to replace the transom, stringers, foam, and floor (hence the name bodditroddit...that story is for another day) anyway, when I pulled the motor the plug for the ignition module got hung up on a chain and it pulled the wires from the plug. I need to repair the plug but have noticed that there are 7 pins on the module and only 5 wires to plug in. I have looked at manual and online and can not for the life of me figure out which pins are left empty. I would be sooo greatful for some help on repairing the plug. I'm afraid to screw up a $400 module. Thanks!! Also, this is my first post so take it easy on me...
P.S. This is a 7 pin plug mounted to the exhaust riser.
