This motor is leaking oil from what i thought was a vent hole. The hole is located beside the oil level hole. When i fill the unit, oil comes out immediately . I guess it must be a seal? thanks guys

Can you send a photo?
no i do not have a camera. the hole is barely smaller than the fill screws. and are on both sides, like you can put a long screw in one side and out the other there must be some kind of plug for these 2 holes

Just so I’m clear on the problem. When you say it leaks when you fill the unit...you mean when you fill the autolube tank with 2 stroke ? Or when you put oil in the gearbox (which might not be best described as “filling” ? If it’s the first option..then I’ll tell you what’s happening.

Oh no, i fill the lower unit, I have taken the lower unit off. It seems the shifter seals are leaking. So now the only problem is the holes, Should the holes use a plug or screws? The diagrams do not show anything
