1989 160BRO Steering Leak

Hi, We just purchased an 89 160 bowrider with the Sea Ray 100 hp outboard. While cleaning it we found that the port side seal on the hydraulic steering has a leak.
Just wondered how hard it is to fix this. It looks like you need a special tool.

i have the same issue,except both sides are leaking.the kit to repair runs around 125.00/ the fill resovoir is on the collar of the steering wheel.i'am like u, don't have the tool to remove the linkage hardware on the hydralics were the seals are at.any help or diagrams would be very,very,helpful.This is the mercury100hp 2+2 motor,with the searay cowl.
