Check the compression and gearcase oil condition before purchase. If all looks well, parts are available from any Mercury outboard dealer, and aftermarket sources.
Thanks Fouled Plug. It was my intention to check the compression after a test ride. Thanks for the reminder to check the oil in the lower unit for water or metal.
