I have a 1988 yamaha waverunner that I just purchased. For the first hour I rode it was fine. I noticed that it started run sluggish. When took it out of the water and put it on the trailer the hull had several inches of water. I pumped the water out and took it back out the next day. I let it sit in the water without running it for about 30 minutes and checked it. There was no water in it at that time. I then rode it for about 45 minutes and it started getting sluggish again. When I opened the hood there was about 3 inches of water in it again. Any ideas on what the problem may be?
