Hello! I have an opportunity to purchase an older pontoon boat with a 1988 Suzuki 75 hp 2 stroke. It’s a little older than I’d like and I’ve never had a Suzuki outboard. It does seem to run well-fired right up yesterday. It’s been fresh water only for at least 15 years. Anyone have experience with these older Suzuki outboards? Anything to be concerned with (and typical failure issues for that vintage)? I’m just looking for something reliable and safe for my family. Thanks in advance!
