1988 Starcraft Medalist 1600 Wiring Diagram

I have the boat mentioned in the subject line. I am finding that I need a schematic diagram for the boat's wiring harness to trace some electrical problems. There is no technical info in the documents that came with the boat and a Google search was futile. Can someone point me to a good source to get info on the wiring and routing in the boat? FYI, there are no issues with the engine. Thanks!

Boat manufacturers didn't publish wiring diagrams which is why you can't find them. However, boats have two basic wiring systems. One is the harness that runs from the engine up to the control box. That system runs the engine, tilt & trim and powers the gauges. That harness is covered in the engine service manual. The other system (no diagrams) powers every other accessory in the boat and runs from the battery to the fuse/circuit breaker panel. To help you, there is a sticky at the very top of this forum titled "Generic Boat Wiring Diagram". Most boats follow this scheme or are very close to it.
