My 70hp nissian has been doing great, but, the other day I took it out an everything was great, then when I tried to restart it, it would'nt so I figured it needed new plugs. Well, put new ones in it, but it still won't start, not even hit. Any ideas on what else I should check? Thanks...

Thanks guys for your response, but I did check the plugs, put new ones in. Checked the kill switch, it has one of them dead man switches, so I just disconnected it an then hooked it back up. Still no go. Talked to a local boatman, an he told me that it was probably the brain box. Is there any way to check this? Again thank you all for the help.....

Sure. The test procedures and values are in your service manual. Now, going back to the original suggestion. Did you check for fire on the plugs. If your CD(Brain Box) is bad you will not have fire on your plugs and that would indicate that you have a problem in the electrical system. Yu might also want to check the fuse on the engine to see if it is blown.
