It's been two months now since my boats been in the water. I bought my 18hp Nissan back in March for $340 and only had a few issues so far, getting the lower unit off was the toughest issue. I've seen a great improvement in my performance. Cruising speed is between 16 - 20 mph. Top speed so far has been 27mph. It's not that bad on gas either a lot better then my force 9.9hp. It's been starting on the second pull and run all day without any issues. It idles at very low rpms. The propeller works but will need replacing soon. It's not slipping or a spun hub it just has a lot of Knicks & chips on it. The recoil starter has been giving me issues. It sometimes doesn't catch the flywheel and just comes out. That's all and I'm very pleased with the performance of this motor and would recommend it for any boater! Only downfall is parts are scarce

No I don't need one, all it needed was a little grease and new rope. But thanks for offering
