I think I may have switch the green/white wire with the green/yellow wire on the coils. Does it matter which positive wire the coil receives on a 2 cylinder motor.
I have been having intermittent running issues with this motor and this morning it wouldn't start and had no spark on the bottom cylinder. After new plugs, testing the coils, cleaning connections and grounds I replaced the switch box. I now have big blue sparks on both cylinders and the plugs look wet but it only idles a short time and is running rough. Do I have the coil wires reversed? I can't find any wiring diagrams to check

Please help, i am on vacation with a boat and no motor.

Problem solved. The power wire to the coil was ground on the bottom of the flywheel so it was back to running on 1 cylinder.
