I don' know the temperature but water coming out of the pee hole is very very hot.
The motor is new to me and I've never have it in the water yet. I rebuilt the motor over the winter and have only had it on muffs so far. It takes a good 30-45sec for water to start coming out the hole and when it does, its so hot you can't keep your hand in the water. No alarms (if they work), is that normal to be that hot.? I've had a lot of motors and never had the water that hot, normally just very warm.
Also, is it normal to wait that long for water to come out.?
Thanks

We got the same engine.Mine also very hot on hose.Tell tale is routed via Tstats. So it only pees when stats open.Tstats open 140 -150d.Alarm on your model will only sound at 240d(some models 190d).Make sure intake is clear and pee hole not blocked with debris..Could also be bad hose pressure. These motors love running hard but need a lot of water.
I wouldnt worry but to make sure test block temp with heat gun.

Great thanks...
That helps a lot, I just never had a motor that runs that hot.
I'm rebuilding the water pump anyway but just want to make sure.
