Got a 1988 Merc 220 xri thats running like its a 5 cylinder instead of a six. Spark is good but I think the #6 cylinder isn't getting fuel? Is this possible on a efi? Does each injector feed each cylinder? This will be my first time working on an efi so I'm alittle green...

injectors fire in pairs by ecu. 1 n 2, 3 n 4, 5 n 6.. if a single injector is suspect they should all be checked, cleaned and flow tested...

Yep......also need to check compression as no fuel equals no lube to cylinder

Are they difficult to replace? I found a different v-6 efi from the same year range that had an oil injection failure, but has 6 "good" fuel injectors?

They are only good after they have been sent off, cleaned and flow balanced
