1988 johnson 90hp two carbs orifice question

Top carb has two orifice's in the black float chamber inside the drain plugs, they are numbers 25c. The other orfices are barried under a lead type shot?????

Bottom carb has 56c orifice's in the black float chamber inside the drain plugs
The other orfices are barried under a lead type shot?????

Motor has been de carbed, carbs have been rebuilt, new plugs, and VRO has been modified to pre mix. Having trouble Idling.

Is this right orifice set up?

# 3 is the # 26C jets, #13 is the # 56C jets. both carbs.

Both sets of orifices should be in the float bowl, two behind the drain screws and two accessed from the top of the float bowl.

When you cleaned the carbs, did you run a piece of soft wire thru the idle passageway? It runs from the the float bowl to the top of the carb. Its inside the main fuel tube(tube inside a tube). You'd be suprised what kind of junk you can get out of it. Check to see if your idle air jets are clean too. They are in the barrels.
