1988 Force 85 HP Carb Leaking

Hi All, Finally a day out with little issues. After replacing all the plastic adjusters for the carbs and timing rod I completed the link & sync. It ran great all day except when restarting warm it acted a little funny, just skipping till I throttled it up a tad and then would smooth out. When I got back to the dock and tilted the engine a stream of gas came out of the engine into the transom well. I assume I'm in need of carb rebuilds. I bought this boat Sept 09. Please confirm. Mike,Sounds like the ethanol might be working on the needle valve maybe it's sticking.Or there is junk in the system maybe water.
Do they leak when the motor is in the upright position?Do they leak when you squeeze the bulb?Most carbs will leak some when they are tilted.Jerry

Hi Jerry, Leaks while priming the ball but I don't think they do while sitting upright. Probably should rebuild them just so I know they are in good working order?
