1988 FORCE 5O HP CARB ID/KIT??

FORCE 1988 50 HP MODEL #507Y8C<br />CAN'T FIND CARB KIT, I THINK THE CARB IS A WALBRO.<br />NUMBERS ON THE MOUNTING FLANGE WE17A 1987 & 628061-Z ALSO IS STAMPED MADE IN USA, KIT # 7037 IS NOT THE RIGHT KIT. NEED HELP ON I-D ING CARB, AND WHERE TO LOCATE KIT??

Have you gone to your local NAPA and checked out their marine catalog? They have Chrysler parts still so, they must have Force parts. You could also possibly try a Mercury dealer.

Sure looks like the 7037 will work. here is a link for your motor My chrysler has this exact carb and the kit worked for it. What part or parts did not work with it? This is the merc link to your model number you posted<br /> force 1988 50hp

Senior Chief the float needle completley different, no groove in top of needle for retaining clip to float and several other differences. But the web site helped alot,the complete break down of carb,the kit # (10102-1), but the site didn't respond to E-Mail's sent for info, but I did HOOK-UP with a local dealer and order the part. NAPA no help<br />THANKS!!!!!
