1988 force? 50hp no spark

model is 507f8b i think it is a 88 if someone could let me know for sure thanks. it ran and started great last season tried to start and it has no spark at all.checked kill switch. im guessing it has points tried to remove flywheel w/ puller wont come so letting it soak w/ dw40 over night. anything else that i could check? thank you

that is a 88 b model I just went through the same kinda thing with my 88 50hp. I'm not sure how common this happens, but when you get the flywheel off be sure the magnet is not just slipping on the inside of the flywheel. I had to glue mine back with epoxy. It was slipping and I had no spark, no the spark is back.
