Amazingly enough i purchased this boat this spring...

Model 507y8D serial 2636

Looking for some help troubleshooting until my repair manual arrives. I have noticed some oil leaking form a bolt that appears to be holding the lower unit on about half way down the shaft. I have been on boats.com and found a diagram of this section but it does not appear to have a gasket there? Any ideas on where to begin my quest to find out where water is getting into the lower unit? the vent and fill both appear to have good seals and the gaskets on those look to be very new.

Where to begin? should i just start ordering all seals?

The screw on the side is for the shift linkage. The bottom is for draining the oil.See pics.
How much water is in the oil.Sometimes unburned gas /oil leaks down and looks like grease. Some seals weep and a small amount of water is absorbed.
Do a pressure test after the grease is drained.J
