Hey all, thanks for checking out this thread. I recently aquired a 1988 Chris Craft Cavalier 198 BR that my kids and I are working on bringing back up to snuff. We are on the hunt for a starboard side side windshield and are having a really really tough time finding a replacement. The top leg of the frame has been damaged beyond repair so ideally a whole replacement window would be grand. If I cannot find a replacement window I'd be keen on even finding suitable frame parts and getting a piece of glass cut to fit it. Just hoping that some folks on here may know of a place, wrecking yards or . I've tried several wrecking yards to no avail. Any insight or ideas are openly welcomed. Thanks!

Taylormade probably manufactured the windshield for your boat. IF you call them for a quote, make absolutely certain your children know CPR as you may have heart palpations when you get the price.

Hint: My cousin had to replace the center section (flat glass) on his Searay deck boat. The glass alone was $1k and he had to install it himself.

And if you decide to have a glass shop do the work, make sure its safety glass as you don't want sharp shards coming at you.
