Just got my first Mercruiser and its a Bravo 1 behind a 7.4L.
Im wondering where is the best place to order parts from. Bellows, Alignment tool kinda stuff.
I have some time before im actually going to use it so i would like to do some maintenance items on it sense its down for a week or two.
Specifically I want to change Drive shaft bellows,
Put a new exhaust bellows on. It has a tube but i would prefer the actual bellows.
Shift cable maybe
Check alignment and gimble bearing
Thanks

iBoats would be the place to start. Just click the 'Boat Parts and Accessories' link above.

The exhaust tube is used with the big blocks because at higher rpms the prop exhaust area is a bit restrictive. The tube is louder but the engine breaths better.
Check alignment
Google mercruiser alignment bar and in most cases you will find the best price on ebay or mercstuff

I do order from I Boats but man for some reason the shipping some times usually takes a week and a half to get to me. Dunno why??. Usually will not give me the option to up grade my shipping either so its SLOW ground freight.
There is a place in Florida i order boat related stuff from and 3 days later i have it no matter what it is but no Merc stuff.
Now im not trying to bash I Boats at all and believe you should support a forum like this through buying.

So im just looking for a alternative for Mercruiser parts that has fast shipping and decent prices
Winter i buy mostly from I Boats. Summer when im in a hurry i go for fast shipping!
