1988 Bluefin Sportsman 17ft console ideas...

Hi everyone, I recently got a 1988 Bluefin Sportsman with a 1988 or 89 Force 85hp for $400.. Not a bad deal.. Well, i ripped out all the carpeting consoles and rotted decking to the bare bones.. Trying to figure out what to do with the glovebox and driver side consoles.. Any ideas or good pics? I am new to this site but have been reading many interesting threads.. Hopefully someone can help, thanks...

Believe your hull was actually built by Starcraft, so it should be solid.

I think '88 was the last year they used those hull, before they went to the cheaper welded hulls.

What are your plans for the boat?

fishing?

Skiing?

You could build a nice side console, or center console if it will be a fishing boat.

If you need to replace the transom, check out the Starcraft pages, as there are many step by step restorations documented there.
