1988 Bayliner Ciera 2455 I/O 5.7 L OMC Cobra

Just took my boat (new owner) to the Marina and was told that I might as well get rid of my boat due to OMC parts getting harder to find. I just got her and would prefer to keep her. Any advice from anyone in the same situation would be appreaciated.

It really depends on what your current problem is ?

in general the problem is a lack of a qualifed service person more than a lack of parts
