the tool itself is hardened
a 1/2 inch allen works in a pinch
last ditch effort is to weld the allen to the hinge bolt.
in all cases hi heat is required.

So I'll need hi heat no matter what? and we're talking the 2 pins behind the trimm senders correct?

Those are the ones. I rebuilt my entire Gimble assembly which had minimal corrosion and I still had to use a torch to heat things up a bit. I used the OEM tool to minimize risk of stripping anything and it worked great!
Good luck,

Ayuh,.... Not so much High heat, but heat to soften the lock-tight it's set into...

I use a 1/2" allen key...
