1988 90hp Mercury

I have a 1988 90hp Mercury outboard, OB302485. Can anyone tell me where the tilt switch on the motor is so I can eliminate it from my problem? My motor will not start and I want to make sure this is not the culprit. Also, where does the kill switch for the ignition connect for my motor on the outboard? Is the safety for the motor tilt built right into the tilt indicator on the motor itself or is there another switch, mercury or what have you, on the motor? My motor turns over just fine but will not start after I just used it and was going to winterize it. Im dumbfounded as to the culprit! HELP!

Tilt switch (correct name 'Mercury switch') is under the cover on the starboard side of the engine, below the ignition coils.

Also, where does the kill switch for the ignition connect for my motor on the outboard?

Connects to the 'Kill' terminal on the switch box.

Is the safety for the motor tilt built right into the tilt indicator on the motor itself

Check the safety switch on the control box....
