i bought a boat with amotor that has not been ran for 3 years. when i got boat it started up with fresh gas but ran rough and would die as soon as i would start to give it throttle. so i rebuilt carbs and fuel pump and installed new water pump. now motor runs better but surges as i try to accelerate once i get up to 4500 to 5000 rpms motor will run smooth for about 5 minutes then cut back and starts to suge again like it is starving for fuel. any help is appreciated. thanks Paul
