While conducting other work on my motor the blue wire (up) got pinched by the motor cover and melted when I went to raise the motor. After this happened the down function still worked properly. The relay was damaged so another one was ordered along with the terminal assembly. I have replaced the damaged wire and the up function works by jumping straight to hot. The issue I have now is that the down function no ;longer works either with the switch or by jumping straight to hot. What could be causing the down function to not work any more when it previously worked after the wire had been damaged?
