I submerged the lower portion of the engine and now the starter will only click. I can turn the motor with a wrench but the started won't turn the engine. Is this a starter issue or something bigger? Thanks for any help you can offer.
Sounds like the starter is a good candidate. Didja' try the good ole' "tap it with a screwdriver" trick? You may have just gunked up the starter and need to have it cleaned / rebuilt.
