1987 SUZKI 4.0hp carb problems

I have a DT4SJ Suzuki 4hp Outboard Motor which I purchased back in 1988. I might have put a total of ten hours on the engine since I bought it. I am having problems with the engine starting. I have tried almost everything I can think of to get it to work. The engine will run if I spray Starter fluid into the carb. I tried new gas<br />and I removed the carb and cleaned it. Fuel is getting into the bowl of the carb but it is not jetting into the engine. I soaked the carb in gas and used carb cleaner on it afterwards. It has a Mikuni carb which I cannot find an exploded parts diagram for so I don't know how to break it down any futher. If anybody knows how to proceed on this problem please let me know. <br />Thanks, Brian

Thanks for the info. It certainly helped me. I failed to remove the jet and after reading your reply and instructions, I removed and cleaned the jet individually. I tested it in a 55 gallon drum and it now runs perfect. Thanks for your info, you just saved me $100. Thanks Yepblaze!
