Is your capacity plate missing from the boat or just unreadable now?

Your best bet since SN was bought out by Lowe is to find one of their similar 14'rs models and that would get you close to your SN's capacity.

Sea Nymph has been out of business for quite some time. I collect Marine literature. My archives are quite extensive, but not for that year.

14R's are basic utilities that are very light weight. Your FMBR is a deluxe model with added options.

From the 1986 catalog:

FM146 Fishing Machine
CL - 14'5"
Beam - 66"
Bow Ht. - 30.5"
Transom Width - 58"
Transom Ht - 16/20"
Persons cap - 465 lbs
Wt cap - 915 lbs
HP cap - 35
Gauge - 0.064"
Approx Wt - 350 lbs

Looking at the specs for other 14 footers, the persons and weight capacities are reduced because the "fishing machine" is a heavier boat due to the swivel seats, carpeted side trays and finished floor (deck). Its really only a 3 person boat, with seating for only 2.

(BTW, the info is tabulated online. Simply google the model number and it will come up)
