1987 mercury fuel connector

I have a 1987 mercury 6hp outboard motor serial #0A722383.Im having trouble finding a fuel connector to fit the fuel line to the outboard.Hope someone can help.Tks.

Is it a clip on connector - two pins sticking out from the engine, one hollow and one pointed. Or a twist on connector - single hollow tube sticking out with two short pins on sides of the tube close to the base (tee shape).

I would try a Mercury dealer.

Go to http://www.iboats.com/Mariner-Fuel-...2883799--session_id.748976933--view_id.426251 you need the 18-8075 or 18-8076 depending on your hose size.
I'm not sure if it's a miss print in the size, but the Mercury number listed under the 18-8076 is for a 5/16 ID hose.
