1987 Johnson 200 outboard - what is this/these bypssed system(s) ?

From the two uploaded pics, can someone help me ID the system(s) that have been bypassed on this 1987 200 hp v6 Johnson? In the pic of the starboard side of the motor there is a circular part (with unconnected nipple) attached to the block (or intake) in the center of the pic, partially obscured by the linkage arm. The Johnson/Evinrude parts diagrams don't name this part. The diagrams show the part but it isn't named. The capped off line pointing up to that part comes from the base immediately below the powerhead on the starboard side.

In pic of the port side of the motor a hose connection is removed from the top of the VRO. Don't know if this is associated with the VRO or other part on other side of motor or not

The yellow plug is used to bypass the oil to VRO and make it a pre-mix pump.The other is the water valve that controls the t-stats and engine wont cool with this bypassed unless it had the update. Post a picture of the heads and housing.

Many Thanks Fazt, I was told that thermostats have been removed and vro has been bypassed. Previous owner pre-mixed his oil. Will post a couple of pics tomorrow. On test shakedown cruise motor ran good and cool, running for our almost hour long test. The pee stream was good too.

For clarification on the vro yellow nipple I have uploaded a portion of the OMC diagram. I'm trying to figure this out. From the diagram it appears to me that the oil was coming (on left side of diagram) to front of pump (through sight tube), and gas was coming in on right side of diagram to bottom nipple. But trying to figure out that sideways "U" hose (#21 in diagram), now removed seems to originally go from the yellow nipple, but to where?
