Any 85hp+ Trim system from 1970 to 1992 will fit your outboard.
However, your boat may already be wired for one specific system.
If so, then you should buy system that matches original boat wiring.
1988 and later system is a 2w trim motor. It uses small wires with control relays mounted inside outboard engine (near starter).
1986 and earlier system is a 3w trim motor. It uses heavy wire and the motor is connected directly to your switch.
1987 used both types. I don't know of any way to know from serial # if your boat was intended for trim and, if so, which type.
