1987 6hp carburetor no high speed

I have a 6hp 0398060 that the mechanic has soaked in acid twice and it idles perfect but if you give it gas it bogs down. The fuel pump is working fine but the mechanic seems to feel it is still clogged. Any ideas on how to get it clean or does anyone have a carb they want to sell

Cleaning solvent alone does not usually clean the brass high speed jet properly.... located horizontally in the bottom center portion of the float chamber (way in back of the drain screw/bolt). Clean it with a piece of single strand steel wire. Let us know how that works out for you.
