I am trying to get my 1986 8hp outboard to help charge a starting battery while im trolling. I was told i need a charging coil which is located under flywheel and a rectifier. I looked and have a bunch of wires coming from there 2 of which are not plugged into anything. Would these be coming from charging coil?? And how to determine what "rectifier" to get to hook to these. Any help would be appreciated.
