well i have a blown head gasket again, in the same spot.i replaced it the other day and was tracing down a fuel starvation problem and fixxed that, then motor ran very well,on the way back running around 4900rpms at 58mph and felt a drop in rpms, so i checked the plugs a water in cyl. removed gasket and got water out of piston. any ideas? warped head? new gasket installed at 20lbs. torque all bolts and went by the book on the order.!@#$%^&* help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check the head for warpage Wes. A good straight edge works. They can be worked down some with emory paper and a flat surface. Check the deflectros while your in there to.

An outside shot would be the exhaust cover gasket leaking also.
