1986 Starcraft Mariner Trolling motor

Im restoring a 16' 1986 Starcraft Mariner. Looking at putting a Ghost Trolling motor on it.
They offer a 47" version. Measuring while on trailer looks like 47" should be fine.
Its not ready to put in the water yet. So I was wondering if anyone has put a trolling motor
on a 1986 Mariner and what shaft length you used.

I'm looking at 60" for my 18' MR180, and even questioning whether I need the 72". Personally, I'd opt to go longer. Calm water, the 47" will likely be fine, but when you're in some chop and the bow is bouncing up and down you may find the prop coming out of the water.
