I was looking to purchase a 1987 Rinker V180. Sorry I dont know more about the boat at this point. I know it had a OMC I/O on it. Once the owner started the boat and it ran for about 5 min milky oil started coming out of the vent tubes that comes out of the top of the valve cover and hooks to the side of the carb cover. He had the oil changed and the boat winterized 2 years ago and the boat hasnt been ran since. Its just been stting. There was a tear in the cover right above where the moter cover is located. When I pulled the dipstick out it was also covered in the milky oil. What might cause this and should I not consider this purchase. I have attached a photo of the motor below.

Any help would be great.

I can give you 3 reason to run... 4, if you count the cracked block or manifold.

1. Outboard
2. Marine
3. Corporation...

Unless you're buying it for 'hull only' value and plan to remove the OMC and fit a VP or MC.... run Forest, run....

Ayuh,... That's a dead Horse in more ways than 1,....

Find another barge to buy,... 1 that Doesn't say OMC on it, Anywhere...
1 that doesn't have a Junk motor is another Plus...
