There is no single magic part number.<br /><br />Every time I pick up a local boating magazine, I see at least a dozen ads for GM replacement engines. You can buy both new and rebuilt, from many sources. They come as complete engines, or long blocks, or as short blocks. You can get an engine delivered in a crate, or the vendor can do a complete installation for you.<br /><br />Also, you can buy 2-bbl, 4-bbl, or FI setups. And also Vortec and non-Vortec 4.3's.<br /><br />Pick up some classified magazines at a local boat store, and talk with some of the vendors, selecting the one that best gives you what you need.
