This is a GREAT site!, very informative with hot, spirited debates- well done!.<br /><br />I've just bought a 1986 Haines Signature 17.5ft runabout (Aussie version of a Boston Whaler- a quality rig) with a matching Merc V6 Blackmax.<br />What is everyone's opinion of these small-block V6 motors?. I understand they're a 2 litre capacity.<br />Does anyone know of any bugs with these?. Mine SEEMS to get a little warm (according to temp gauge anyway!), but the oil inj has been removed at least 
. I've heard they do run hot or maybe there could be a blockage somewhere in the cooling system.<br />Any help, opinions, stories etc would be really appreciated.<br />Thanks guys<br />Nilsson
