1986 Merc 135 OIL INJECTION DISCONNECT

I have a 1986 Mercury 135 Black Max that I have had rebuilt. I want disconnect the oil injection system. How do I do this?

I would remove the pump and all lines and check valves. When you remove the pump there is a plug kit that plugs the hole, from Merc about 15.00 I think. The inportant thing about the plug kit is that it holds a bushing in place. When the bushing comes out it does bads things inside the engine. This information is second hand and may not apply to all Merc engines.

Thanks Captain...tell me, does the bushing come out when you remove the pump? Is it something I'll have to put back in before I put the plug kit back in?

Like I said this information is second hand, I think the bushing may be pressed in and unable to remove without splitting the block.
