1986 Johnson 150 Tilt and Trim Not Working

My motor will not tilt up or down. When the button is pushed I can hear a click from the relay but no motor noise or engine movement, any suggestions?

Find the relays in the tilt/trim wiring box and swap them out.

Have you tried tapping the trim motor with a screwdriver handle; brushes might be stuck. Good luck

Disconnect the trim motor from the relay box and try it directly to a battery. Blue to positive will be up, green to positive will be down. If the trim unit doesn't work, then you'll know it's localized there and the relay box is (likely) okay.
