Hi all. I am looking to upgrade from my current bowrider to a small cuddy. I know someone in my boating community that has an '86 Force 220 for sale. He's not actively selling it, but it's for sale. He completed a repower on another boat this Summer and it's basically a spare. I have only casually seen it once. I am waiting for some pictures.
Aquaintances say it's turnkey. The owner's only complaint is it's hard to keep the gelcoat shiny. Fades easily. Not a concern for me. Mechanically it's supposed to be great. 5.7L Alpha One.
I have questions on it's construction....fiberglass or wood sole? Cored transom?
These are a few of the things I will investigate, along with anything of concern for this model boat that you come up with.
Thanks again. Ted
