1986 force 15 hp info needed

just bought a 86 force 15 hp. the pull start spring is not attached. so it does not rewind. does anyone know if the spring attaches to the pin on the bottom? also I can't find anywhere what plugs should be in there?

My documentation (based on the year) calls for NGK B6HS.... If you have the model and serial number I can confirm that....

If it doesn't rewind??
Usually the spring is broken.
Unless it's been taken apart.
Then get a manual and follow the steps to put tension on the spring.

Thanks Jiggz, I have see that but the picture is not clear.I need to see the bottom of the spring to see if my spring is broken.It doesnt appear to be broken but i have nothing to go by.

Well I found a good pix of the spring.It appears it is missing the part for the bottom of the spring and appears the person before me bent the spring to try and get it to work. Just ordered a new spring with parts missing.

Achris please let me know if that is the correct plugs.

Jerry i found a manual on ebay for $19 shipped.

Also I am looking for a washer that goes on the end of the bolt that you tighten to the transome? The other side has it but i am missing one. Where can i find somthing like that?

Possibly on e-bay.

Here;s the part number it's still available.
It actually come in 3 pieces.
The washer, the screw(NLA) and the stud(also NLA)
If yours still has the pointy thing still on the screw? The washer will fit.
They sell the whole thing on e-bay sometimes.

Chrysler/Force engine don't use projected nose spark plugs. Use either standard B6HS or BR6HS for radio noise interference suppression...
