1986 Evinrude 150xp, Manual?

I am getting ready to buy a 1986 Ranger 373v with a 86' E150xp on it. Compression and Spark is good needs new fuel pump and carbs rebuilt. This will be my first project and I need a good manual. I have read that Seloc and Clymer are not as detailed as a factory one. Anyone tried a Downloadable manual? Please help me find the right one!

There are manuals offered on eBay that are on CD.

The 150 is a complicated motor. If you're going to do any major work on it, the OEM manual will be the best money you've ever spent.

You;ll find the cd impossible to navigate .

The company that produced the original is Ken Cook Co., in Milwaukee. Call them and they will send you a copy of the original. I'd ask them if it is a black and white photocopy or including color. The last one I got from them was black and white only, and the color wiring and water diagrams in the back of the book are impossible to decipher in black and white.

Can anyone tell me if this manual will work? I am looking to rebuild the carbs and install a new fuel pump on my 1986 Evinrude 150xp.

The guy said it is a factory manual but I just want someone to confirm that its a good buy for what i need to do. if its good im going to snatch it up!
