Doesn't always idle when going into neutral, so she stalls out. I'm really thinking just an idle adjustment issue, but I'm at the lake and don't have my manual. I've looked online a bit but get lots of didn't things and not always telling me how to adjust idle. I visually checked fuel lines, they look ok. Boat runs fine. Some things have suggested idle issues are due to timing.

of i adjust idle, do I just turn this screw in or do i need to loosen nut above as well and turn the thumb nut.

Any help greatly appreciated. Anything beyond this might have to wait till later as I'm at lake without many tools. I just know these settings are finicky and don't want to jack something up.

Do a compression test first !!---Post your numbers.-----Nothing on the carburetors , ignition and timing goes out of adjustment on these motors.------So be careful if you start with the " lets see what happens if I move this " approach.----Could be running on 5 of 6 cylinders too.

It's honestly done this, too an extent for years, since having carbs synced. Wasn't too bad or noticeable and so I left it. Trying to teach kids to ski and it's annoying. Compression test was completed a year n half ago and numbers were good. Issue was present. Just not at lake as much as I'd like in last few years, so hadn't been messed with.

I did lightly mess with the nut and thumb nut. Seemed to idle better. I'll read up on it in the manual now that give and see what that says. I just don't trust any shops near where I live after my pontoon was vandalized in one of their yards several years back and they didn't want to own up to it. Luckily I was insured....

The idle air bleed or the idle channel on top of the carb may need cleaning.
