1986 clssic 50 (45hp) 4 cyl 2 stroke motor oil question?

hi there i have a 1986 classic 50 (45hp) 4 cyl 2 stroke motor right now i have an autoblend but i have been hearing terrible things about autoblends and i dont want to take any chances so i was wondering if any one could tell me which oil mixture i should use thanks

Take the autoblend and throw it away as far as you can.-------Mix at 50:1 on that motor.-----If you do a lot of full throttle and heavy loads add a bit more oil.

2nd on that motion, those Autoblenders are a disaster just waiting to happen!!

I have a question I had my classic 50 out on the water and it was running perfect around the lake and everything was fine until the bulb on the gas tank got sucked in and the gas tank was compressed then my motor acted like it ran out of gas and stalled can anyone help me on this

Also how many times should I prime the bulb on the gas line and which do you prefer for spark plugs the flat ones or standard hooked plugs

You pump the bulb as many times as needed to build up pressure until it's firm, if it doesn't get firm there is an issue. Buy the plugs that are recommended in the manual, sometimes a plug is discontinued and another number will takes its place.
