1986 Bayliner Capri 16ft gear cable

I have a 1986 bayliner capri 16 foot with a snapped gear cable. I have been using it with it permanently stuck in forward since it broke a couple months ago. I still have a couple weeks of season left and I don't want to take everything apart to figure out how long the cable is. I have a guy who carries the cables but he needs to know the length. Anybody know the cable length so I can get it ordered before I tear into it in a couple weeks?

Did some crude measuring without taking everything apart. Looks like between 10 and a 11 feet. Going to order the 11 foot, cross my fingers, and hope it works.

look at the ends of the current cable. they should be hot-stamped with the part number and length every 12"
