I have a 1986 25HP outboard. I have 2 cables from my shift/throttle control.<br /><br />i am not having problem with actual gear selection such as foward/reverse.<br /><br />problem is on the throttle. Have to start my boat in the throttle only mode (about 3/4 forward). needs to be adjusted. Would prefer somebody to explain in laymen's terms or email/fax me a diagram on what i need to do.<br />don't know what it is called (maybe servo adjustment. should be able to adjust near the motor versus the shifter/throttle control mounted on the side of my boat. <br /><br />Email is bassmani@charter.net<br /><br />thx.
