Don't know if ur having problems or not, but this would be a good time to check water flow around cyl. My 82, 235 ran great, but water flow around top right bank was blocked by flattened water diverters. Caused the cylinder to overheat and fragmented rings. But motor still runs, but won't do to use it. Pretty much dead in water.
