Greetings all!
New to this site, and I'm hoping someone might have some info on a project I've taken on. When I got the boat it was identified as a 2-' Seville. It's not. According the the identification on the transom, it is a 187SXL. It has a Merc 4.3l with an Alpha 1. What I'm looking for specifically is how the supports for the sunpad are supposed to be situated in the engine compartment. There are wooden supports that should be there and aren't, and some that are there look like they were thrown in as an afterthought.
This boat was used in salt water, and not maintained well at all. I'm catching up on about 10 years of maintenance that wasn't done. But I'm having fun with it anyway. So far, SeaRay hasn't been real forthcoming with info on the boat, and their web site doesn't list anything that looks like mine for the year.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since nobody has responded to you here I would like to invite you to join at, http://searayowners.com/ , they have an older SeaRay forum on there, maybe there would be help there. This is a good place also so I am not in anyway trying to pull you away from here.

Nlain,

Thanks for the reply, I actually tried the SeaRayOwners site first, but had the same luck there. That surprised me a bit, but what the heck, it is an old boat. <shrug>

But I appreciate you trying to help!

Be safe,
Paul
