Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way of adjusting the tilt up limit switch?
Originally, when I would tilt the outdrive all the way up
the red light on the dash would go on and the tilt up would cut out
now it does not, the motor just keeps on going until I let go of the button,
no light and the outdrive is all the up. Can this be fixed ?

Thanks,
Danny

If the trim sender is the type that has a cable going down through the transom plate and attaches to the suspension fork you are lucky it lasted this long. It has a stainless wire covered with plastic that eventually goes away and binds in the sealing grommet. You can try removing the sender and check if the cable is still good and lubricate it with some silicone grease. If the part is still available it will be $$$ .

Check the calibration of the trim sender gear. There is a procedure. Do you have the trim switch type that’s the 3 button on the dash ? That you have to hold in two at the same time to get up onto trailer tilt mode ?
